BLS Provider for Healthcare Professional

This course will teach you how to safely and efficiently intervene in an emergency situation involving an unconscious victim, including cardiac arrest and choking. You will also learn about common serious medical conditions such as a stroke and a heart attack.

Content: 

• 1 and 2 rescuer CPR with and without pocket mask

• Pulse check

• Ability to use a BVM (Bag-Valve mask)

• How to do mouth-to-mouth ventilations

• How to use an AED

• Obstructed airway procedures

• Adult, child, baby

• Recovery position

Duration: 4 hours

Certification: Heart and Stroke Foundation (1 year as of May 2022)

Level: BLS Provider (Healthcare Professional)
