CPR

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a combination of procedures given to someone who is suffering from a cardiac arrest. It emphasizes on chest compressions in order to "manually" keep the the heart pumping blood to the vital organs to keep the victim alive while help arrives. These steps are crucial, as each second matters. The faster you recognize the situation and intervene, the higher the chances of survival for the victim!

AED

Cardiac arrests are often a result of an electrical problem with the heart. An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can restart the heart by delivering a big shock to it, hopefully leading it to beat in a coordinated manner again. Be careful! You need to stay clear of the victim when the AED is doing its thing!
