standard first aid (c)/IFA (intermediate)

If you are working in an environment that requires you to give first aid, this is the course for you. This course typically lasts more than 1 day, and may be broken down into many sessions, depending on your needs and your schedule.

Content:

• Basic CPR procedures for adult, child, and infant

• Obstructed airway procedures

• Medical shock, bleeds and wounds

• Bone, joints and muscle injuries 

• Asthma

• Allergies and anaphylaxis

• Burns

• Head, neck and spinal injuries

• Diabetes

• Seizures

• Multiple victim situations (triage)

• Chest injuries

• Lifts and carrying techniques

• etc.

Duration: 16 hours

Certification: Heart and Stroke Foundation (3 years)

Level: First Aid 16hrs with Heartsaver® (Level C), Standard First Aid 16hrs

Cost: 200$/person, (+taxes) (Variable according to number of students)
